Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Graduation from a recognised University/Institute.

• Proficiency in the local language of the respective region/area.

• Preference for domiciles of the respective region/area.

Age:

• Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01-01-2024.

• Age relaxation applies as per Government guidelines.

Other Conditions:

• Candidates must not have undergone any apprenticeship training previously or have job experience of one year or more after graduation.

• Duration of the apprenticeship is 1 year (360 days).

• Stipend of ₹10,500 per month (₹1,500 disbursed via Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) from Government agency).

• Allowance for conveyance up to ₹1,250 per month.

• Apprenticeship does not guarantee future employment with the Bank.

Selection Procedure

Online Written Examination:

• Subjects: General Awareness & English Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability.

• Total Marks: 100

• Duration: 60 minutes

• Penalty for Wrong Answers: 1/4th mark deduction for each wrong answer.

Merit List:

• Created district/region and category-wise, based on aggregate marks.

• Age considered for ranking in case of tie in marks.

Waiting List:

• 20% of notified vacancies, valid up to 6 months or end of current financial year.

Application Process

Registration on Apprenticeship Portal:

• Register at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.

• Search and apply for "JAMMU AND KASHMIR BANK" under "Business Correspondent/facilitator V4.0".

Registration for Online Examination:

• From 14-05-2024 to 28-05-2024.

• Fee: ₹700 for unreserved category and ₹500 for reserved categories (to be paid online).
